Job Opening for AMOS Application Support Specialist with Etihad Airways

We are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Technology and Innovation function as an AMOS Application Support specialist within our Technical and Engineering division.  You will add immediate value by maintaining a stable and well performing AMOS application and e-Enablement system with auditable support tickets and change controls, measurable against a KPI framework.

SPECIFIC RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Maintain a stable and well performing AMOS application and e-Enablement systems with auditable support tickets and change controls, measurable against a KPI framework.
  • Managing your day to day ticket queue within the Technical Competence center (TCC) environment at Etihad and/ or partner locations
  • Provide Level 2 fault resolution as assigned through the Manage Engine Service Desk system.
  • Provide technical skills to design, implement and support the TCC software within a number of different environments
  • Maintain effective relationships both within the TCC team and with other business units of Etihad Airways specifically Technical (Engineering) to contribute to the cycle of continual improvement.
  • Liaise with third party vendors and external partners as support related issues arise and/or as upgrades/patches are necessary.
  • Measure application performance and improving the customer experience with the AMOS and e-Enablment applications.
  • Greater EIS stream responsibilities maintained.
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities for addressing stability of applications and application lifecycle issues through Service Improvement Plans.
  • Assist outstation End Users who require TCC application support.
  • Design and implement technical solutions on Etihad Airways/or partner's network.
  • Build several important relationships that you will need to manage constructively, including: Service Delivery Managers, Project Staff, end users (Technical Engineering), IT Operations Software companies (SwissAS) and Vendors (Boeing/Airbus)

  • People Development - Manage the effective achievement of objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff in order to maximize performance
  • Safety, Quality & Environment - Comply with all relevant safety, security, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum, Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in relevant field
  • Proven experience within a Windows 7 environment and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working within Test, Pre-prod, Prod environments.
  • Experience working in an Aviation environment.
  • Experience in having worked within a Citrix Environment
  • Experience in proactive support of network infrastructure (large organization, large systems, multiple functions, etc)
  • Supporting and conducting testing and analysis activities across IT programs through Test, Pre Prod and Prod environments.
  • Experience with technical writing and presenting of information.
