Job description

• ·   Provide support to the Director in developing policies, processes and detailed plans related to HSE and Business Continuity with time scales, for identifying key eventualities that may affect the business.
• ·   Ensure the implementation of Business Continuity, Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems, standard operating procedures and guidelines across the Company.
• ·   Ensure development of guidelines of HSE emergency response and business continuity plans.
• ·   Compile information from business units/users to better understand business processes, data, and functionality requirements in order to analyze the critical processes and resources of the business that will create a crisis in the face of an eventuality.
• ·   Review service level agreements, legal or regulatory obligations on the organization related to HSE and Business Continuity.
• ·   Develop action plans to ensure that resources like people, systems, critical data, equipment etc are made available in case of an eventuality so that business continuity is not affected and ensures business resilience.
• ·   Conduct operational audits as per the approved audit plan on a regular basis to identify key activities to ensure the BCM and HSE standards are practiced within business units and provide reports to the Director for action planning in order to prevent future foreseeable adverse effects on business.
• ·   Identify HSE and Business Continuity risks that may affect the business and develop plan of actions to surpass the same to ensure that business is continued without any delay.
• ·   Develop detailed plans with time scales of critical activities, people roles and responsibilities, and contingency plans and develop Guidelines and manuals with immediate actions in the eventuality or crisis.
• ·   Develop and deliver BCM and HSE training plans and workshops to ensure adequate education and communication among the people in the company and provide framework for BCM and HSE to all departments related to their operations.
• Develop and submit timely management reports that highlight business continuity, health, safety and environment management activities and recommendations for business growth.
