Marketing & Communications Operations (MCO) ensures the Marketing & Communications (M&C) organization model and management system supports business strategies and goals to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness, transformational change and operational transactions for the Marketing & Communications function. As the trusted advisor of the M&C Leadership team, MCO drives the adoption of organization models, processes and automation, implements appropriate planning and measurement systems, collects and reports defined metrics and provides analysis and insight into business performance. MCO assists M&C professionals to operationalize strategies by making investments and tradeoffs consistent with the marketing plans in BU, GMT/IMT and/or GMU/IOT. MCO also deploys/tailors M&C specific programs to aid talent development and purposeful learning activities. The employee influences the functional strategy.
The MEA Marketing and Communication Operations Leader must have the below knowledge:
1. Knowledge about NWoM and marketing's transformation journey
2. Ability to make sound judgements with incomplete data / direction to SHAPE and drive the ongoing transformation (i.e having a POV vs execution / implementation only)
3. Budget & Resource management skills
4 Own and execute the management system for the M&C leader
5. Ability to collaborate both within geo and with multiple ww/chq stakeholders

- Very advanced communication and organization skills are required. There are multiple reports and projects to be managed concurrently.
- Strong personal "ownership" of their area of responsibility and marketing's overall success (ie sees their role as much more than merely completing a set of assigned tasks)
- Assertive personality (to attain an equal footing with the other strong personalities in marketing)
- Flexible working hours. Due to international time zones we sometimes receive urgent reporting requests from WW which require work that evening.
