Opening for Senior Strategy & Research Associate with RAK Free Trade Zone

Job description

The Senior Strategy and Research Analyst will be responsible for providing key analytical support to the various business units in the organization. He/she will work on various projects for both the RAK FTZ and RAK Government by providing analysis and creating reports and presentations on various investments, new entities, creating strategies and business plans. This position also includes analysing and interpreting quantitative data, conducting internet research and writing report content, including graphical analysis. He/she will also be responsible for presenting the findings to the Head of Strategy and Investments

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse and create materials on investment opportunities and various projects to ensure financial and strategic feasibility in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct desktop market research and analysis by assessing various areas in order to assist departments with their requests.
• Provide strategic and financial analysis on various RAK FTZ initiatives and government projects to provide more data in order to assist in the decision making process.
• Utilize various data providers to financially assess organizations by analysing their financial statements, the sector and providing valuation and comparative analysis to ensure accuracy in all evaluations.
• Assist with the development and modification of RAK FTZ corporate strategic plan, under the guidance of senior management to create organisation-wide priorities to ensure RAK FTZ achieves its short, medium and long-term objectives.
• Assist with identifying the organization’s intelligence requirements in order to have reliable and consistent set of indicators necessary for effective decision-making.
