Job description
Control Risks are looking for a professional with fluent English and Farsi to conduct mixed-language desktop research in order to gather, analyse and present publicly-available information in the Middle East and North Africa (with a focus on Iran) in support of business intelligence and compliance projects.
To act as junior team member providing investigative and administrative support on fraud, corruption, conflict of interest or other investigative cases in the Middle East and North Africa.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Control Risks are looking for a professional with fluent English and Farsi to conduct mixed-language desktop research in order to gather, analyse and present publicly-available information in the Middle East and North Africa (with a focus on Iran) in support of business intelligence and compliance projects.
To act as junior team member providing investigative and administrative support on fraud, corruption, conflict of interest or other investigative cases in the Middle East and North Africa.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mixed-language research through search engines, databases and archives using complex search criteria and techniques
- To assist in business development initiatives externally.
- Analyse research results within the context of the project and suggest additional avenues of research
- Provide guidance to consultants on the availability and cost of information and advise on research approach
- Manage document collection or provide other investigative or administrative support as part of fraud, corruption, conflict of interest or other investigative cases
- Present research findings in draft reports
- Provide feedback to internal clients
- Manage deadlines
- Support consultants in complex or multi-jurisdictional tasks
- Undertake investigative support work
- Support and participate in business development initiatives and strategy
- Prepare briefings and presentations for client meetings as part of a wider business development strategy
