At Step America, we are searching for an Analyst and Sales Manager to join our team of U.S. licensed lawyers operating out of our offices in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai. We are a full-service U.S. migration firm, assisting UAE clients with their U.S. government migration applications.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION  

The Analyst and Sales Manager will report to a team of U.S. licensed lawyers at the Dubai main offices in JLT for either 5 or 6 days per week, for 8 hours a day, times can shift depending on market demand. The position reports directly to two U.S. Licensed lawyers, and daily and long-term tasks will be assigned by them. The tasks will be varied, and can include: client relations, scheduling of meetings, speaking with press and outside parties, collecting documents from clients and reviewing for accuracy, helping manage the operations of the business while lawyers are on business trips, ensuring timely payments from clients and entry-level bookkeeping. Sales and direct customer contact is a huge component of this position.

Pay will depend based on skill level, experience, formal training, sales ability and other factors. To be considered for this position, please be well versed on the "USCIS EB-5 Program" and exhibit a willingness to learn about the process – the interview for this position will consist mostly of questions in relation to this program to gage how well you understand and your willingness to be trained on the particular law. Since this program revolves around commercial real estate and immigration law, a background in commercial real estate, capital markets, ventrure capital, and financial or securities sales would be very helpful, but not necessary.

Analysts and Sales Managers are expected to have high level of analytical thinking and use a high degree of independent judgment and make sound recommendations based on research. With training, you would be expected have detailed understanding of the legal concepts of the "USCIS EB-5 program", terminology, principles and procedures.

Ability to work under pressure and produce results without close supervision is highly required.

Aside from assisting the team of lawyers with daily tasks, the position also has a sales element as well. The position necessitates to follow up with clients who have inquired for services and ensure they pay their retainer fees, and essentially sign up for the program.

OTHER DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Keeps client cases organized by establishing and organizing files; monitoring calendars; meeting deadlines; documenting actions; inputting information into file database and CRM software; confirming case status with attorney.
  • Helps develop cases by maintaining contact with people involved in the case; scheduling meetings; preparing and forwarding documents; drafting emails; generating status reports.
  • Keeps clients informed by maintaining contact; communicating case progress.
  • Maintains case costs by verifying outstanding balances with attorney, clients, and providers.
  • Reviewing commercial real estate documents and assessing viability of the development project
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
