System Engineer - Power Generation & Distribution – HV Systems - Dubai World Central (DWC)
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a well experienced System Engineer. Based at DWC, you will be responsible equally for design, operations and maintenance of all electrical systems. As the System Engineer you will be responsible for detailed engineering, validating the design, overseeing implementations and commissioning of solutions. You will manage the outsource contract staff and work with suppliers on life cycle cost optimisation of all solutions.
You will control and monitor all the high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage, turbines/generators, wet systems networks, structural works, critical equipment and systems for which Dubai Airport has control. You are also responsible for implementing safe systems and in charge of approving and authorizing any work related to electrical and safety critical assets or systems. Overriding this you will design risk control mechanisms to minimise hazards and continuously improve reliability, resilience , safety & reduce cost.
