Job opening for Technical Product Delivery Manager, EP&I with Visa

Job description

At Visa, the Emerging Products & Innovation (EP&I) team in CEMEA holds primary ownership and accountability for bringing to market new Visa developed digital technology and capabilities including Visa Token Service, Visa Checkout, Push Payments, and Visa Developer Platform, and manage the integration of these technologies into clients digital service channels. The EP&I team works with relevant cross-functional teams to ensure rollout of these products across the region as needed. They also work with partners and clients on the development of human-centered product development leveraging the Visa Developer Platform.

This highly experienced Technical Product Delivery Manager will be accountable for the delivery and success of m-commerce program initiatives through Visa Token Service and Push Payments. Besides helping to lead the management and delivery of client implementations, they will also be responsible for accelerating the development of client propositions that leverage APIs through the Visa Developer Platform. The successful individual will work closely with a portfolio of enterprise level, SME, and start-up customers and will partner with the Visa's Digital technology, product and services teams to help drive the innovation required to meet the evolving business goals of these customers. They will help present the Visa's Digital product vision to key customers and drive enthusiasm for early adoption of new products and feature sets.

They will provide the project management, leadership, and technical expertise required to drive our cross-functional customer projects and initiatives to successful completion. They will own the overall technical integration experience to ensure successful, high quality delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical discussions including requirements, customer experience, security and answer technical questions as needed with a high level of independence.
  • Work with Clients to gather requirements, define the solution, and scope of the project.
  • Manage technical projects or programs, working closely with business and technical staff to develop and track milestones and schedules for the many moving parts that need to come together.
  • Document requirements, work closely with development and other implementation teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented as intended.
  • Develop a plan and schedule, with well-defined milestones.
  • Support in early sales conversations, help with product demos, discuss proposition and benefits to customer.
  • Manage communication of progress/status within the core team and external to the team (customers, merchants, partners, etc.); escalate issues as necessary. Remove roadblocks and keep processes running smoothly.
  • Set and manage customer expectations with regard to feature and solution availability.
  • Represent the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders; Strong customer-facing communication skills and technical aptitude.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and effectively adapts to change.
  • A real go-getter with an entrepreneurial spirit who takes the initiative to get things done.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 – 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Development experience in web-based technology/terminology including HTML, JavaScript, web-based services (REST APIs), JSON, XML.
  • Proficiency in Android or iOS app design.
  • Ability to work with clients in testing, debugging and certifying code
  • Experience in user experience optimization and purchase funnel optimization
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
  • Proven ability to evangelize a vision
  • Adept at leading client and partner teams of independent individuals with a track record of quickly earning credibility based on your knowledge throughout, and amazing accomplishments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, understands what it takes to troubleshoot, and has exposure to payments.
  • Strong analytical skills and documentation skills.
  • Experience in a structured project management environment.
  • Experience bringing new products to market a plus.
  • Knowledge of Bank Card Management Systems a plus
